Notice of financial incentive

Virtue, a Colorado limited liability company, Boulder, Colorado, operates Viewer Panel and pays members for sharing their TikTok export and optional extras. We use your data to run research studies, delivered to companies as group results. We haven't sold personal data. In the future we may sell or share it with businesses that buy research, and deidentified or aggregated data may be used, shared or sold for any purpose. We may use or share data from the panel, including in research for businesses. Data we share always leaves out your name, email address, phone number and other contact details.
The incentive
- Pay per export. $5 when you submit your export and finish the survey, and $25 more when your file passes our checks: $30 for each approved export. If a file fails, you keep the $5 and can fix it and resubmit for the $25.
- Bonuses. Some studies add a bonus per export for groups that are harder to recruit. Your study page shows it before you join.
- Referral rewards. Some studies pay you when a friend joins with your link and sends an approved export, for up to 10 friends per study.
- Scout rewards. $0.50 when we accept a video you spotted, $5 more if it breaks out, and $25 more if a company uses it.
- Revenue share. Some studies set aside a share of what the company paid for the members whose data it used, split by days of viewing.
The data involved
Signup ZIP code and city; city and state estimated from your IP address, with a hashed IP kept 90 days; a hashed name fingerprint from Whop's ID check; videos watched with start times and watch time; likes, favorites, shares, reposts, searches and follows; TikTok's ad interest labels; and, if you choose, Instagram ads and viewing, matched Amazon order dates, matched app install dates, check in answers and scout screenshots. Also your age status, a device count and a payout email. The privacy policy lists everything, and everything that stays on your phone.
Material terms
- We check every file automatically, and a person may review it. We check that it's a TikTok export in JSON format, has viewing history in the study window, belongs to one account, shows you're 18 or older, and is new to us. We decide whether an export passes. Exports that look automated, padded or copied are held for a person to review and may go unpaid. Three flagged exports close the membership.
- Payouts go through Whop, which checks your identity before your first payment.
- You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We or Whop may issue tax forms where the law requires them.
- The amounts are the ones shown when you sign up, and we store them with your agreement.
- Pay you have already earned stays yours if you stop or delete.

How to opt in
Join through a study link. Before each upload, the member portal at viewerpanel.com/login shows exactly what will be sent and the uses it serves. Ticking the consent box and pressing Send is your opt in. Participation is voluntary.
How to withdraw
Stop any time. Press Delete my data in the member portal, or email privacy@viewerpanel.com. Withdrawal takes effect right away and ends future pay. You can also opt out of any sale or sharing of personal data without leaving the panel.
What your data is worth to us
Our good faith estimate of the value of your data is about $30 for each approved export, equal to the pay we offer. We set it from the research revenue we expect a member's export to bring in, minus our costs to recruit members, check every export, analyze the data and run the panel. Bonuses, referral rewards, scout rewards and any revenue share come on top.
