Download your TikTok data
In the TikTok app, open Settings and privacy, then Account, then Download your data. Choose JSON.
Upload the export and answer the survey
Upload the file in the member portal and answer a short survey. We check the file and pay you through Whop.

We check every file automatically, and a person may review it. If a file fails, you keep the $5 and can fix it and resubmit for the $25.
We pay through Whop, a payments platform. Whop checks your identity once, before your first payout. The amounts are the ones shown when you sign up, and we store them with your agreement. People who plan to buy a car in the next three months may also earn a bonus. Full terms are in the notice of financial incentive.
How we handle your data
- Your account
- You download the file yourself and upload it to us. We don't ask for your TikTok password and we don't log into your account.
- Reporting
- We report results only for groups of 50 or more people. Your name stays out of every report.
- Sensitive topics
- Studies leave out health, sexuality, religion, politics and the other sensitive categories listed in our privacy policy.
- Sharing
- We use your data to run research studies. We may use or share data from the panel, including in research for businesses. Data we share always leaves out your name, email address, phone number and other contact details. You can opt out of any sale or sharing now in the member portal or at privacy@viewerpanel.com.
- Stopping
- You can leave whenever you want and delete your data in the member portal or by emailing privacy@viewerpanel.com.

Is Viewer Panel part of TikTok?
Viewer Panel is an independent research panel. TikTok is a trademark of its owner and neither sponsors nor endorses Viewer Panel.
What's in the TikTok data export?
The file TikTok gives you lists your account activity, such as videos you watched, likes and searches. You can open the file and read it before you upload it. The member portal shows what will be sent before you press Send.
How do I download my TikTok data on iPhone or Android?
The steps are the same on both. Open TikTok, tap Profile, then the menu at the top right, then Settings and privacy, Account, and Download your data. Choose JSON as the file format, select all data, and tap Request data. TikTok can take a few days to prepare the file. When it's ready, open the Download data tab and tap Download. On iPhone, save it to the Files app. On Android, it saves to your Downloads folder.
What do you check in my file?
We check every file automatically, and a person may review it. We check that it's a TikTok export in JSON format, has viewing history in the study window, belongs to one account, shows you're 18 or older, and is new to us.
How do I get paid?
We pay through Whop: $5 when you submit and finish the survey, and $25 more when your file passes our checks. Whop checks your ID and legal name once before your first payout, under its own privacy policy. We receive only whether the check passed and a scrambled fingerprint of your name.
Can I stop partway through?
Yes. You can stop at any time and delete your data. You keep what you've already earned.
Why do you ask my age and where I live?
The first study looks at adults 25 to 54 in the Las Vegas area, so the screener checks both. When you sign up and each time you upload, we also estimate your city and state from your IP address to confirm you're in the study area and to prevent fraud and duplicate accounts. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of the IP for 90 days and the city and state.
